About Us

The Art is Primary after school program is the educational outreach of the International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction. The program is designed by the museum's director Cecil Touchon.

This program is designed to fill two gaps: The gap in time between when kids get out of school and when their parents get home from work and to fill the gap between the daily school curriculum and the need for integrating art, culture and creativity into the lives of all children.

This program is being implemented at the Sycamore Elementary school in Crowly, Texas where no art courses are currently even offered in the school curriculum. More that 70% of the student are from disadvantaged homes.
